SPARKMACON MEMBERSHIP

SparkMacon is a membership-based organization, known as a makerspace. SparkMacon membership levels include access to the public and private work spaces, tools and equipment, workshop facilities and high-speed wireless internet located at 600 Guy Paine Road, Building 102, Unit 202A, Macon, Georgia, as outlined below.

Instructions

• Click on the membership level that interests you.
• Check out the details of the selected membership on the page that opens.
• Click the “Chose an option” drop down box, and select whether you would prefer to be billed monthly or annually.
• Click “Add to Cart,” then click “View Cart” from the green bar that appears on the page. 
• On the Cart page, click “Proceed to Checkout.”
• On the Checkout page, enter your information, then click “Continue to payment” to purchase your membership. 

Afterward, you will receive an email with instructions about how to utilize your new SparkMacon membership!

Becoming a Member

• After signing up for a membership level above, members must complete a Member Agreement and Member Release. All forms are available in our New Member Orientation Packet.
• In order to use the 3D printer, sublimation printer, wood working and metal working equipment, members must complete equipment certification for each tool, which is provided free of charge at the space on a monthly basis.
• Membership begins the day you purchase it.
• Annual memberships are non-refundable.
• Email info@sparkmacon.com to cancel your monthly membership at any time.

Minor Access

• Only members who are 18 years or older may complete their own Member Agreement and Member Release, as well as be eligible for keyed access to the space. All forms are available here.
• Members who are 16 or 17 years old must have a legal guardian sign a Member Agreement, Member Release and Minor Release, but are not required to have a legal guardian accompany in the space, except for in the Wood Shop.
• Members who are 15 years or younger must have a legal guardian sign a Member Agreement, Member Release and Minor Release, as well as accompany them at all times in the space.
