SparkMacon is your community innovation space equipped with the tools, equipment, and grass-roots education required to convert your idea into a reality. Think of us as a gym membership to exercise your creativity, hands and brain. We aspire to blend the best of art and technology.

Big Thank YOU!

We are very thankful to our generous community of makers and business leaders.   Together, we have currently raised $4,940 to help sustain our physical space, support equipment purchases, and address ADA facility compliance issues.

More Thank You’s!

Why are we raising $10,000 for SparkMacon Maker Space?

  • We believe that supporting creativity and connection between the arts and technology is how we bring the next great ideas to life.
  • Part of receiving the full amount from our initial seed grant requires us to be able to show community support through this crowdfunding campaign. We also know that without your support this project will be short lived.  We need members and community support from the start to succeed and that is where you come in.
  • With your support we hope to provide a home for the next generation of inventors and creators; support creative hobbies, and provide the resources for those individuals who are ready to create now.

We need your help to sustain SparkMacon MakerSpace

  • We can only sustain SparkMacon MakerSpace with financial support from members like you.  Please consider making a contribution today!
  • Please continue to share our crowdfunding page with your friends, family, and network:

Join us for our first MakerSpace Cleanup Day

Now that we have the CO on the space the next step in getting ready to open is to do the basic space cleanup (floors, windows, bathrooms, and deck). We will have the tools and supplies and just need some willing and able hands. Even if you only have a hour to give come on out. More work days to come that will likely include painting and building of furniture and partitions. See you at the space.
