SparkMacon Book Club – “Beyond the Obvious” by Phil Mckinney [Members only]

beyondTheObvious

Hi SparkMacon members! Join us for SparkMacon’s first book club featuring “Beyond the Obvious” by Phil Mckinney. Mr. McKinney was a director for innovation at HP. In this book, he shares his systems, plans, and soft skills required to organize innovation teams and create killer products/services. During our first session, we’ll do a quick overview of innovation management, design thinking and how we want to move through the book. In the ideal case, the group would meet once a month for 3 or 4 months reviewing this content.

Check out Phil Mckinney’s website for free resources.

Book abstract:
A rule-breaking approach to harnessing the power of innovation. This book dispells the myth that you have to be born with the gift of creativity and innovation. Everyone is creative and this books shows you how.
