First Friday Open Make Night

Join SparkMacon every first Friday of the month for Open Make Night. This month’s theme is Cinco de Make-o! All you have to do is:

1. Show up.

2. Check out all the tools and equipment the makerspace has to offer, from table saws to Adobe Creative Cloud.

3. Make something! Bring your own idea or collaborate with others to create original art and/or technology, from music to 3D prints.

Be sure to post your idea below if you want to team up with others!

One more thing: We need VOLUNTEERS. Email info@sparkmacon.com if you want to help make this awesome event happen.

SparkMacon Book Club [Members only]

Hi SparkMacon members! Join us for SparkMacon’s first book club featuring “Beyond the Obvious” by Phil Mckinney. Mr. McKinney was a director for innovation at HP. In this book, he shares his systems, plans, and soft skills required to organize innovation teams and create killer products/services. During this session, we’ll cover chapters 4,5, and 6.  These chapters discuss how you organize your innovation processes and finding new ways to serve your target audience.

3D printer certification class

This workshop is available to members only.

SparkMacon members… If you’re interested in using the 3D printing equipment, we will be running a certification course. In this course, we will review the basic processes for building your models, printer maintenance, tips, tricks, and responsibilities for printer clean up.

This certification class is required if you want to use the equipment.
