SparkMacon is a membership-based organization, known as a makerspace. SparkMacon membership includes access to the desk and meeting space, art tools, technology equipment, workshop facilities and high-speed wireless internet located at 557 Cherry Street, Suite B, Macon, Ga, as outlined below.

Membership Levels

Instructions:

  • Click on the titles below and they will expand, so you can explore different membership options.
  • When you are ready to sign up, click the SparkMacon “M,” under the membership option you prefer, and you will be taken to your specific membership page.
  • On that page, click the drop down box that reads “chose an option” and select whether you would prefer to be billed monthly or annually. Click “Add to Cart” and a green bar will appear near the top of the page. On that green bar, click “View Cart.”
  • You will be redirected to your Cart page. On that page, click “Proceed to Checkout.”
  • You will be taken to the Checkout page. On that page, enter your information. Then click “Continue to payment” at the bottom to complete your transaction. 

Afterward, you will receive an email with instructions about how to utilize your new SparkMacon membership!

Macon Makers Discount: If you are a already a member of either Ampersand Arts or 5/4 Music Space, you receive a 25% discount off your SparkMacon membership. Click here for the details, and email info@sparkmacon.comif you qualify for a discount.

Makerspace Standard Membership
  • Access to the following:
    • SparkMacon during regular Hours of Operation for one individual
    • Common tools and maker stations, including 3D modeling and printing, CNC machine, electronics, laser engraving, and wood working, on a shared basis
    • Lounge and snack space
    • Training classes for tools and equipment
  • Does not include access to the co-working area and computer station, office supplies or printers

Makerspace Keyed / Family Membership
  • Access to the following:
    • SparkMacon 24/7 for one individual and immediate family members
    • Common tools and maker stations, including 3D modeling and printing, CNC machine, electronics, laser engraving, and wood working, on a shared basis
    • Lounge and snack space
    • Training classes for tools and equipment
  • Does not include access to the co-working area and computer station, lounge and snack spaces, office supplies or printers

Private Manufacturing Membership

$150+ (priced by space required and demand)

  • Access to the following:
    • SparkMacon 24/7 for one individual
    • Reserved space for office and/or manufacturing use
  • Special Note: Access to makerspace tools and equipment, as well co-working amenities, is not included and must be purchased separately for all individual

Co-Working Standard Membership
  • Access to the following:
    • SparkMacon during regular Hours of Operation for one individual
    • Co-working desk space and computers, as available
    • Conference room and ability to reserve it for private meetings
    • Lounge and snack spaces, office supplies and printers
    • Entrepreneur Office Hours to discuss business development
    • SparkMacon networking meetups
  • Does not include access to makerspace tools or equipment

Co-Working Premium Membership
  • Access to the following:
    • SparkMacon 24/7 for one individual
    • Reserved desk in co-working space, plus computers as available
    • Conference room and ability to reserve it for private meetings
    • Lounge and snack spaces, office supplies and printers
    • Entrepreneur Office Hours to discuss business development
    • SparkMacon networking meetups
  • Does not include access to makerspace tools or equipment

Private Office Membership
  • Access to the following:
    • SparkMacon 24/7 for two individuals.
    • Reserved office and desk in co-working space, plus computers as available
    • Conference room and ability to reserve it for private meetings
    • Lounge and snack spaces, office supplies and printers
    • Entrepreneur Office Hours to discuss business development
    • SparkMacon networking meetups
  • Does not include access to makerspace tools or equipment

    Becoming a Member

    • After signing up for a membership level above, members must complete a Member Agreement and Member Release. All forms are available in our New Member Orientation Packet.
    • In order to use the 3D printer, sublimation printer, wood working and metal working equipment, members must complete equipment certification for each tool, which is provided free of charge at the space on a monthly basis.
    • Membership begins the day you purchase it.
    • Annual memberships are non-refundable.
    • Email info@sparkmacon.com to cancel your monthly membership at any time.

    Space Access

    • To see when the space is open, check out our Hours of Operation.
    • To request the space be open additional hours, please post to our SparkMacon Community Page.

      Minor Access

      • Only members who are 18 years or older may complete their own Member Agreement and Member Release, as well as be eligible for keyed access to the space. All forms are available here.
      • Members who are 16 or 17 years old must have a legal guardian sign a Member Agreement, Member Release and Minor Release, but are not required to have a legal guardian accompany in the space, except for in the Wood Shop.
      • Members who are 15 years or younger must have a legal guardian sign a Member Agreement, Member Release and Minor Release, as well as accompany them at all times in the space.
