SparkMacon Hour of Code

The SparkMacon Hour of Code is an one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.

Everyone should have the opportunity to learn programming. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting to learn code early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.

In this workshop, we’ll provide hands-on learning experiences using tools from http://code.org/learn and answer any questions that you have. Here, you’ll learn what you need to start programming on your own! Please bring a laptop with you to work on.

Whether you’re young or old, this fun, FREE event is for you!

 3D printer certification class

This workshop is available to members only.

SparkMacon members… If you’re interested in using the 3D printing equipment, we will be running a certification course. In this course, we will review the basic processes for building your models, printer maintenance, tips, tricks, and responsibilities for printer clean up.

This certification class is required if you want to use the equipment.
